Following the successful completion of a video project, the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization asked Uncharted Pixels to transform their dated website to a site that had a contemporary feel and with an eye toward educating the public about donation.
We developed the new iopo.org website with an eye toward making the topic of organ donation and transplantation less threatening. We included new original content - the "Gift of Life Learning Center" which is a web based video series with supporting text that helps interested individual learn about the process of becoming an organ donor and the process of the donation and transplantation process. We also developed a custom branded YouTube channel to serve the videos in high definition.
The website and supporting videos and YouTube channel were a great success. The IOPO website receives nearly 25,000 unique visitors and about the same number of returning visitors each year.
